A different roof.
A longer view.
A proposed spray polyurethane foam and GE Enduris silicone roof system for Vermeer’s Buford Sales & Service Center—and a new approach for the facilities that may follow.
A roof is a long-term operating decision.
Vermeer is evaluating more than a different roofing material. It is considering how a new roof can be inspected, serviced and renewed throughout the life of a facility.
A new building gives us a chance to coordinate the roof from the deck up.
Every layer has a job. The roof works as a system.
The assembly below covers the main, storage and wash roofs. Open the product panels for manufacturer documents.

The practical differences in construction, quality checks and maintenance.
Renew the surface.
Preserve the investment.
The long-term opportunity is to retain roof layers Vermeer has already paid for. Renewing the protective coating on a sound, suitable assembly can reduce new-material, tear-off, hauling and disposal costs compared with a full reroof—and may reduce disruption to the facility.
Renewal is based on roof condition and manufacturer approval. A warranty ending does not itself require roof replacement; no fixed renewal date or dollar savings is assumed.

Waters Edge’s roofing scope excludes carpentry work for roof curbs and parapet-wall nailers. The estimate carries a treated nailer lumber material allowance; installation remains by others.

Set a new standard for future Vermeer facilities.
The Buford project can serve as a carefully documented evaluation of an alternative new-construction roof assembly. The proposed system will move forward only through the normal owner, architect, manufacturer and permit review process.
